Key Water Restrictions for 2024
Outdoor Watering Schedule:
Even-numbered addresses (e.g., 2, 4, 6): Watering is permitted on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
Odd-numbered addresses (e.g., 1, 3, 5): Watering is permitted on Wednesdays and Sundays.
No outdoor watering is allowed between the hours of 10 AM and 6 PM to minimize evaporation.
Prohibited Activities:
No watering of lawns or gardens during rain events.
Avoid using water to wash down driveways, sidewalks, and streets.
Use of non-recirculating fountains is prohibited.
Permitted Activities:
Hand-watering with a hose equipped with a shut-off nozzle.
Drip irrigation systems are encouraged.
New Plantings and Sod:
New sod and landscaping are exempt from restrictions for 30 days following installation. However, residents must notify the city to receive this exemption.
Swimming Pools:
Filling of swimming pools is allowed but should be done during the permitted watering days and within the acceptable hours.
Compliance and Enforcement
